Artist Statement - "Open up" by Mihai Muscan

I made this piece during a really personal time in my life. It’s about how there’s real beauty in being vulnerable—like, letting your guard down and showing up as your full, messy, honest self. The flames are all about that intense, emotional moment when you stop hiding and start owning who you are. It’s raw, it’s bold, and it’s a reminder that being real takes guts. Hopefully, it makes people think about their own path to being more true to themselves.
